Youth Ministry

Our Mission Statement: Together as a body of Christ, our goal is to inspire the young people of today to do God's work and to share his love by touching the lives of the youth around us as we seek to do God's will.

HRUMC Youth Ministry exists to inspire, empower, and include all youth by being transformed through relationships with God and community. We are Christ-centered. We provide a safe, comfortable place to express thoughts, ideas and beliefs, where we are empowered to seek and ask questions and discover a personal relationship with God. With fun, laughter, joy and play, we journey together in our discipleship finding ways to help those in need with faith in this ever-changing world.

Acolytes

The Acolyte is one who assists members of Clergy to perform in the service of the church by lighting candles. We are looking to train young members of the church to perform this task as they are in the process of learning what it means to serve.
